How do I remove my wallpaper?
If old paper requires stripping, this should be removed before any other work is carried out. Many old vinyl papers are easily stripped by simply peeling them off, having lifted a corner with the aid of a stripping knife. Some people say you can leave...

I have a problem with mold in my bathroom shower ceiling area. A number of events have occurred to enhance this situation: (1) water leak from pipes located above shower stall, (2) flat enamel paint used on the ceiling, and (3) bathroom being located in the basement.
Surfaces affected by mold and mildew need to be cleaned and disinfected with a bleach/water solution. Then, seal with a couple of coats of primer/sealer like Zinnser. Repaint with washable paint. Or, if the shower is enclosed and you plan on retiling...

I have just started building a house. When I picked my lot from the builder, I was told that my lot was 138 DP. It turns out that there is a fence at the 128' mark, so the last 10' of my lot are unusable. This was not told to me before I purchased the lot. Do I have any recourse hear or am I out of luck?
unfortunatly unless this is written on paper you probaly have no legal recourse. Like the settlement papers.

I really don't want curtains because I have bad allergies and I do not want anymore fabric or dust holding materials. Also I tried blinds but they did very little

I would suggest interior real wood blinds. They cut down on heat because the air between the blind and the window make an excellent insulation barrier. They can be painted or stained. Also they don't hold  dust...

I understand that the building code (for backyard sheds) is now 5 feet off the fence line. My house is in Kenner, LA. Is this correct ?

I hate to say I don't know but I don't know .It's really not a building code. That question is more area specific and or even neighborhood specific. First read your survey this should show you set backs. (Places that you can not build in.) For...

Can you tell me the average cost per square foot of building a house in Lakeshore Estates?

Normally it's what you put in a house which make the square foot price. In other words the granite counter tops versus laminate tops. Grades of floorings and appliances etc... Being Lakeshore Estates I am assuming it would be towards...
